Description
Tzigane is a red blend Hybrid Tea, bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) in France in 1951. It was introduced in France by URS (Universal Rose Selection)-Meilland in 1951 as ‘Tzigane’.
Vermilion, golden-yellow reverse. Strong fragrance. up to 45 petals. Very full (41+ petals), cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Bushy, upright. Glossy, bronze-green, leathery foliage.
Height of 2′ (60 cm).
Susceptible to Mildew.
