Earl of Warwick

English nobleman, “the Kingmaker” from his role as arbiter of royal power during the Wars of the Roses between the houses of Lancaster and York. He obtained the crown for the Yorkist Edward IV in 1461 and later restored to power the deposed Lancastrian monarch Henry VI (scroll down for a more detailed Description)
