Description
Confidence is a Pink blend Hybrid Tea rose originally bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) in France in 1951). It is orange-pink with light pink edges, white reverse and yellow undertones. The reverse is shaded amber. It has a strong fragrance and carries 25 to 38 petals. Very large, double (17-25 petals), classic hybrid tea, high-centred bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid buds. Upright, well-branched. Dark green, leathery foliage. Height of up to 4¼’ (up to 130 cm). Pointers were first recorded in Britain during the early 19th Century with very little information about the breed before this time. As time passed, Pointers changed in appearance before a breed standard was established which is the foundation of the Pointers we see today.
