London Infantry Volunteers

These prints were published in 1972 by Hugh Evelyn from original prints by Thomas Rowlandson first published in London by Rudolf Ackerman in 1799 . The prints are c 25.5 x 33.5 cm (10” x 13 ¾”). (Actual size may vary according to the bookbinder’s cut). The images on the prints are 20.5 x 25.5 cm (8” x 10”) on light greyish orange background (c. RGB fcf0e6) impressed on high white matt cartridge paper weighing c. 120 g/m² leaving a slight indent on the paper.  Shown here are scans of the plates.
