These images were drawn by David Braithwaite (1932-1982) who was an architect and a photographer and illustrator of fairground rides. He wrote the book Fairground Architecture which was published in 1968. These images show two 100 year old fairground rides that are still in existence today.
The prints measure 45 x 24 cm (18 ″ x 9 ½ ″) and are printed on medium weight high white matt paper (c. 144 g/m2). Shown here are scans which have been processed with Photoshop. Published in 1976 by © Hugh Evelyn Limited, London;
