In 1963 Hugh Evelyn published this series of prints in London for Tre Tryckare of Gothenburg (who retain the copyright). The Swedish marine painter and illustrator Gordon Macfie (1910-1971) created the prints for a book published by Macmillans in 1965. Macfie’s grandfather emigrated to Sweden from Scotland in 1865. The prints measure 44 x 33.5 cm (18 ½ ″ x 13 ½ ″) and are printed on cardstock weighing 300 g/sm2. Shown here are scans of the prints.
